Fairtrade Friday

It was a fun Fairtrade Friday......

On the 27th May it was ‘Fairtrade Friday’. Every class in Trinity Fields School learned about Fairtrade and carried out Fairtrade activities. The pupils and staff in school dressed up in the Fairtrade logo colours: blue, green and black! There were lots of fun activities going on around the school.

Linda Korczynski the PR Ambassador at Sainsbury’s Pontlanfraith invited students from the Learning Pathways department to investigate some of the Fairtrade products they sell. Tomos Hooper, Lee Morriss and Tammy Stone visited the store and compared the cost of Fairtrade products to that of other brands. Linda Korczynski gave us some Fairtrade products to taste when we returned to school. We enjoyed making hot chocolate and cakes using the Fairtrade products!
