Concert - School Curriculum

The School Curriculum Department continued the celebrations on Wednesday 12th December with their performance of “Children of the World".

Sunflower and Cherry class played the grumpy snowmen who needed some Christmas cheer by visiting children around the world to see how they celebrate Christmas.

Chestnut class gave us a traditional Welsh Christmas by singing Jingle Bells in Welsh, with a virtuoso performance by Emily Taylor on the piano.  Carmarthen class took us to Poland while Rose class showed us how they light up their Christmas trees in China.  Rowan class showed us how the Australians celebrate Christmas and also treated us to a performance of Baby Shark!  We had some special visitors from America from Elm class as they dressed up as Donald Trump, Marilyn Monroe, Jerry Springer, Rocky and the men in black!

Willow class concluded the concert by showing us the true meaning of Christmas as they performed the nativity scene and sang the Irish song “Christmas Candle.”  All pupils really worked hard to make an enjoyable and memorable performance.

A massive thank you to all the parents/carers who supported the concerts and provided amazing costumes.  Also a big big thank you to all the staff who have worked so hard in rehearsals and during the concerts.  We couldn’t do it without you!

Well done School Curriculum phase
